Lamar
Legends The
following instructions will lead you thru "How to submit photos" to be
considered for inclusion in The Book.
We will need you to either
send existing digital photos or jpg files. These
need to be of the highest quality/resolution your camera can take.
When you scan them, be sure
to name them in the following way. Three parts of the image name separated by a
dash:
(yourlastname)-(the year of
the image)-(image number).jpg
peach99-1.jpg , peach99-2.jpg peach99-3.jpg
peach07-1.jpg , peach77-1.jpg peach87-1.jpg
Once you have those please
email them to: photos@lamarlegends.com

Note: that by
submitting photos to the Lamar Legends project you agree that you
are sharing those images without restriction, without fees and or
without obligations to the Lamar Football Booster club and the Lamar
Legends project. Thank you! |
Be sure to include in the
email message your name and phone number so we can contact you.
And if you have a message
to share concerning the photo, that would be appreciated.
Captions describing the subject
of the photos are more them welcome such as who is in the photo or what game
against who and such.
This will really make it more of you more of the writer of the Lamar Vikings
football history.
You might have trouble with
the size of these attachments depending on what email service you use.
Please do not get
frustrated... you might need to send the photos as attachments one per email.

If you do not have access
to a scanner please send an email to
askus@lamarlegends.com and let us know what photos you have.
We have scanners available for your use or if need be we can scan the older
photos with you.
Pictures would be ideally submitted in
original photo format. (negatives only as a last resort)
Please write a label on a sticky note prior to placing on the BACK of the
photo. Please print clearly.
Captions describing the subject of the photos are more them welcome such as who
is in the photo or what game against who and such.
Writing on the sticky note while on the front or back of the photo will ruin it
by leaving an impression of your writing on the photo paper.
You may also wish to place individual photos into a labeled zip-loc bag
instead.
Photos should be labeled clearly so that they may be returned to their rightful
owners.
Please if at all possible, no print outs of digital images as these may not scan
very well.
